Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates are fake, but they're close to home! To find the proper coordinates, you must solve a puzzle.

"This new puzzle, it needs to be simple... y'know, unless we make it really hard.**" mused el bandito as bandita scribbled in her puzzle magazine.

"I can make a logical, straightforward, simple one that even non-puzzle-nerds can solve," she replied, showing bandito the magazine. "We can make one like this. I figure it’s about ½* difficulty."

"There’s no ‘half-star diff’!"

"It’s easy! No ambiguities, no white text, no foreign numerals, no sheep! Half a star!!"

"That’s not even an option," exclaimed bandito.

"OK, OK, one star."

Bandito gave her that look that Ricky used to give Lucille. "Make the puzzle, please, bandita, and I will put the finishing touches on the page. Attributes, stars, and all the rest."

At that moment, bandita was distracted by something on a website geared toward 9 year olds, and she let the matter drop.

**He actually said this, in reference to something else, by the way.

The letters in this crossword grid are encrypted. Each number (1-26) represents a different letter, and each letter of the alphabet will be used at least once. The charts will help you keep your letters and numbers straight. When you've solved the puzzle, turn the letters back into numbers to find the cache coordinates.

Note: One or two, maybe three, of the words contained in the puzzle may not be words recognized by Merriam-Webster. However, they are common terms in geospeak. Therefore, consider words recognized by your Scrabble dictionary plus geospeak terms when solving this puzzle.
