This is a four stage puzzle cache. At the first stage you will find the Geocache version of the Rosetta Stone. Near it you will find a laminated clue that will help you decipher the two coordinate puzzles below. Once you have deciphered the clues head to the final stage and log your find You'll know you deciphered the code correctly if you end up on the periphery of a nearby park.
The Rosetta Stone is an Ancient Egyptian artifact which was instrumental in advancing modern understanding of hieroglyphic writing. The stone is a Ptolemaic era stele with carved text. The text is made up of three translations of a single passage, written in two Egyptian language scripts (hieroglyphic and Demotic), and in classical Greek.
The Geocache version (located at the posted coordinates) contains two waypoints which will offer clues to translating/deciphering the two puzzles below. The two waypoints found on the 'Rosetta Stone' are not physical caches. You are looking for a 'sign' at the second and third stages that will allow you to decipher the two puzzles below. The solution to the puzzles are a set of coordinates leading you to the final stage. Good Luck! Note: All of the stages for this cache are located within a couple of miles of each other so the driving required is minimal.
