Le manoir McIntyre, 1880-1930
L’édifice des sciences médicales McIntyre a été construit en 1965. Haut de 16 étages, il abrite la faculté de médecine de l’Université McGill.
Il tire son nom de Duncan McIntyre, un des riches fondateurs de la compagnie de chemin de fer Canadien Pacifique. En 1880 McIntyre fait ériger à cet endroit, en haut de la rue Drummond, une somptueuse demeure dans ce qui était alors le cœur du Mille Carré doré.
Le manoir fut démoli en 1930 et en 1947 le terrain fut donné à l’Université McGill par la famille McIntyre. Le site fut nommé parc McIntyre jusqu’en 1965 alors que l’Université utilisa les terrains pour la construction de nouveaux pavillons.
Malgré qu’il s’agisse ici d’une cache urbaine, vous devriez pouvoir faire votre recherche avec assez de discrétion.

The McIntyre Medical Sciences Building was built in 1965. It houses the McGill University Faculty of Medicine.
The building was named after Duncan McIntyre, one of the wealthy founders of the Canadian Pacific Railroad. McIntyre had a mansion built for him at the top of Drummond Street, the heart of the then affluent Square Mile. The house was completed in 1880 and demolished in 1930.
In 1947 the McIntyre family donated the estate to McGill University. For years the site was called McIntyre park until 1965 when the land was used for the new construction.
Even if this is a real urban cache, you should be able to perform your search with enough stealth.
