Geocache Description:

This is a fun little tour of Historic Delake School. It is no longer a school, but a Cultural Arts and Information Center for the City. You can go to www.lincolncityarts.org or www.oregoncoast.org to learn more about its current use.

The Delake School has been serving the needs of Lincoln City for many years. The Main portion of the school was constructed in 1929. The gymnasium was added in 1946. And an all-purpose room was added in 1957. Delake School was closed down as a school in 2003. The City of Lincoln City purchased the building in 2005.

This is a fun little multi that takes you around the building to see what the school looks like on both sides. Park in the parking lot and you can access both parts of this multi. The difficulty is high because the final is in plain site of HWY 101. You can only find the first stage from inside of the fence, not the road side. There is not a container at the first location... but the coordinates are there. Good Luck!
