Brand spanking new park. Nice area to see wildlife. Cache has a Travel Bug. It is called Youngstown State University and was gotten in Northern Ohio and wants to tour the Country. Please stay on the trails and watch for any Geo Tracks at the cache site
There are a couple of memorials in the Park. The Kuenning Homestead Memorial and a WW II Memorial. It is available dawn to dusk. Please park in the area provided it the front of the park. Do not pick vegitation, rocks, fungi etc camping will be available shortly.
This is located along the historic Miami & Erie Canal, between Lock One and the former site of Lock Two. It offers 67 acres of wildlife protection and a peaceful site for recreation. More than 400 trees have been planted in the park to sput the retention of native plants and animal species to the area. A three acre lake provides an opportunity for catch and release fishing. There is ample pathways for walking, running, and biking/
