EDIT: 12/25/2019 Visiting town for Christmas since I first placed this as a “kid” in 2008! I logged on here only to see my first cache had disappeared. I was appreciative of others caring enough to place a new cache and maintain it. I ran out to check the new cache (albeit disappointed the cachers never reached out to me before replacing my cache). Upon arriving at the original cache, we found the bulky, obvious, new peanut butter jar cache. However, a little more looking revealed the still in tact, original, cache!!! The original, and obviously tricky to find cache was a green chapstick container in the end of a hollow La Cholla cactus arm. The container is now white plastic and in dead cholla pieces. However, the log is still in tact and things are well. I applaud those of you who “geocached” like I remembered and worked to find this micro. For those who thought it was missing because the tape on the under side of the bbq, this was the original decoy cache which has since disappeared but proved very fun for many original cachers. I applaud those of you who found the original cache or contacted me for hints. That’s the fun of the game. To those we replace caches without contacting the owners, purely because you can’t find a tricky cache, let’s use this as a friendly reminder to enjoy the game and ask before assuming :) I’ve removed the original so it’s not litter, and I’m happy to roll with the new cache but let’s applaud those who found the original :) Original post: The cache is located off a trail that starts by a small playground that kids may enjoy in the morning or evening. This is a small park located in a Oro Valley wash. Also note the wildlife in the area. Three picnic tables are located along this trail and are rarely used. This is a micro so bring your own pen. Note: Please do not attempt to move the "man-made" objects by the cache. Please, place the cache back EXACTLY as you find it and try and respect this cache along with other items in the surrounding area.
