The mountain top is strewn with much rock and small amounts of low brush along the back top trail. A few boardwalk areas are provided for safety reasons and may be the focus point for this cache!
The parking lot of the James Callahan Trail is the start point to access this cache. Proceed upward staying on trail(s) provided travelling through varied forested and open terrain. The final assault to the top is provided via a rocky gorge leading all the way to the top... a final height of some 806 meters. The scenic view along the route and from the top is...alone...worth the trek up. A great hike and a good reason to 'log' the moment! Stay on the trails, watch for Rock Ptarmigan and Arctic Hare on the mountain. Moose and Black Bear sightings are also a possibility.
