El cache esta escondido en la Isla de San Nicolás, en Lekeitio.
Tan temprano como en 1500 había un monasterio de Monjes Ermitaños a cargo de la isla.
En 1617 se fundó aquí un convento Franciscano, las ruinas del cual todavía pueden verse.
El acceso a la isla puede ser o en marea baja, a pie, a lo largo de un malecón, o cuando el agua es poco profunda pero CUIDADO y asegúrate de dejar la isla antes de que la marea sea demasiado alta. También se puede nadar desde las playas de Karraspio o Isuntza siempre que se tengan en cuenta las corrientes marinas. O si tienes suerte a lo mejor alguien te lleva/trae en barca.
El cache esta en un contenedor de plástico con los cachivaches habituales, un libro de registro y un lápiz.

VIEWS OF LEKEITIO - 2
This cache is hidden on the Island of St Nicholas, in Lekeitio. As early as the 1500's there was a Hermitage on the Island, run by Hermitage Monks. In 1617, a Franciscian Convent was founded here, and the ruuins can still be seen today.
The island can be accessed at low tide, along a walkway, or by walking through the shallow water.
CAUTION! Be careful to leave the island before the tide gets too high!
The cache is a small plastic container with the usual trinkets, a log book and a pen.
