August 5, 2008 is a date steeped in Pirate lore.
On a warm and muggy Tuesday morning, three geocachers from NE PA set sail for PA's Schuylkill County to reap a booty of cache finds, and one of them would score his 1000th find on that day. This cache was placed later that day to commemorate and celebrate our good friend's 1000th find - congratulations Pirates of Wallenpaupack!
Okay, so I couldn't resist making this a puzzle cache... Who among these famous pirates has the greatest number of cache finds? Make the right choice, and you'll have the coordinates for the booty!
