A camoed small cache in San Leandro, now at a great height!
This cache is in Washington Manor Park, one of the larger parks in the area. It is just west of highway 880 and can be reached from Zelma or the end of Crosby.
Update: old cache was gone with recent pruning. Replaced cache and moved it to a much better, more secure location.
IMPORTANT NEW FACTS ABOUT THIS CACHE!!!
Recently, I have enjoyed climbing trees going after caches. I decided to make this one of those, so be sure to have appropriate footwear to get this one! New cache is visible from the ground if you are right under it, looking from an angle will likely obscure it with foliage and make it invisible. I would suggest spotting it before you go up so you aren't barking up the wrong tree, as it were! Pretty easy climb, but you will find yourself up in the air a distance greater than your height to reach this cache! Be ready to go vertical and this cache is a find for you!
As of upgrade of 8/11/09, new cache contains new log, two lizards, three of my signature frogs, and a tiny red devil. Container is a redeployment of another hide that had to be modified as well. Good luck and be safe, take it slow!
Update 9/9/10: Replaced and moved after the other tree was severely and poorly pruned (what a hack job! Poor tree!). Similar placement to previous, even a bit higher!
