A nice and easy cache, situated next to Clubbiedean resevoir in a very peaceful location.
A reservoir lying 2 miles (3 km) east of Balerno and 6 miles (9 km) south west of Edinburgh City Centre, Clubbiedean Reservoir is one of a network of reservoirs that supply the city with water. To the east of the reservoir lies Bonaly Country Park and Bonaly Reservoir.

It is popular among fisherman and you will often see one or two out in the reservoir. Cyclists and walkers use the track from Harlaw to Bonaly so it it is an easy cache to incorporate into a walk or cycle.
It is also quite close to the cache GCGX6C Under High Voltage which can be done very easily in the same walk or cycle.
