Under bronsåldern drog en uråldrig sjöled fram genom den djupa Kälbyravinen. Den fungerade som en kommunikationsled och var en alternativ väg för att slippa de svårframkomliga forssträckorna i Eskilstunaån. Sjöleden gick från Hyndevadsforsen i Eskilstunaån och vidare rakt norrut genom Borsöknadalgången mot Ekeby.
During the Bronze age, an ancient sea fairway led through the deep Kälby ravine. It functioned as a communication route and was an alternative route to avoid the difficult rapids in the Eskilstuna river (Eskilstunaån). The sea fairway led from the Hyndevad rapid (Hyndevadsforsen) in the Eskilstuna river and straight norrthwards through the valley in Borsökna towards Ekeby.
