The Parks and Island are open during daylight hours only. You will need to swim, kayak, or canoe to the island. Motor boats are allowed on the lake if registered and insured, but that would be cheating.
This is not intended to be a pull over your car and walk ten feet sort of cache. Kids love a trip to the island. Bring a little picnic and pack out your trash.
