Geocache Description:

Micro cache hidden off the coast of Maraetai (my-right-eye)

Should be an easy find...

You are looking for a small camouflaged aluminium container. Maraetai has some amazing views and is the location for many TV spots and adverts (Recent National Bank, Lotto, Prime TV, Short films, etc); On a clear day you will see why

Ideal for kids, especially in summer (get here early as beach becomes packed!) but this time of year it's great for just a quiet walk along the beach.

At the end of the car park closest to the cache you will find a Geodetic marker, these are great for checking out the accuracy of your GPS receiver. Place your GPSr over the marker and it should display:

S36° 52.899 E175° 03.069

(ours was showing S36° 52.901 E175° 03.069 on the day)
