When I was in college, one of my history professors was trying to get the class to guess a particular religious symbol he was refering to.
When I responded by saying that he was refering to an Ichthus, his response was "I don't know what an Ichthus is, but its clear that none of you are catching that I am talking about the Christian fish symbol thingy."
FYI - Ichthus (
) is the Greek word for fish. I believe there's a bit of a tie-in between the Greeks and the Christians. Ichthus is the real name for the "Christian fish symbol thingy." :)
