The route is quite steep at the beginning if approached from the recommended car park and can be slippery in the wet. Access to the cache involves walking on woodland footpaths and across fields.
The cache is a small plastic container measuring 17cm x 11cm x 5.5cm inside a plastic bag located in Six Acre Wood and containing a log book, 2 pencils & metal pencil sharpener plus 6 items for exchange.
Reception on my GPS was good when the cache was set up but there is a lot of tree cover that may cause problems to other units that do not have the high sensitivity sensor. The initial cache exchange items comprise;
