Geocache Description:

Park in the last Indian Valley College parking lot (4 quarters required on weekdays). Cache is in crevice at base of westerly rock outcrop hidden behind several small rocks, not down in the creek bed. Photo was taken about 50-100 feet from the cache, but looking away from it.

A one gallon clear plastic storage jar with a yellow lid containing: log with pencil, Duncan yo-yo in red velvet pouch, package of zinnia seeds, 100 Lira Italian coin, plastic bunny filled with hard candy. If you would like to explore the area further after finding the cache, there are miles of hiking trails in this Marin County open-space. Cross the bridge at N 38° 04.754 W 122° 35.377 and walk about 1/4 to 1/2 mile up the trail to N 38° 04.550 W 122° 35.418. If there is water flowing in the creek, you will see a nice waterfall at this additional location. The original container was removed by unknown persons late in 2003. We replaced it with a 1/2 gallon plastic container with a red lid on 1-10-2004. The new container was stocked with: 4 rubber stamps that light up when stamped, 2 change purse keychains, 1 compass, 2 spark plug gauges and a wooden bumble bee.
