Gordon Square Garden Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Family-Wood: I was hoping to find another spot big enough for a good size container, instead of yet another 35mm canister. Never mind.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been moved from it's original location as the council removed the lamp post. I have publish new coordinates.

Like Tavistock Square, Gordon Square was developed by Thomas Cubitt in the 1820s. It now belongs to the University of London and the student community has taken over from the former aristocratic residents as the primary user group.

It is open to the public. The university owns many of the buildings in the square and in early 2005 it submitted an application for a refurbishment of the square, including the reinstatement of railings similar to the originals. The west side of the square is dominated by the listed church of Christ the King.

The park is open every day from 08:00hrs to 20:00hrs or dusk, whichever comes first. It is not open on Christmas day.

When I set this the best GPS fix I could get was 6m, so if you have problems then read the clue.
