A nice little rest stop for travelers in a standard sized ammo can.
We here at the Dew Drop Inn are a full service sanctuary that will provide rest and relaxation to those weary travelers who traipse upon this world from Cache to Cache. Our goal is to refresh those voyagers and get them back on the road to their ultimate destinations.
Please, if you come across a traveling cache in need of some quick R & R, don't hesitate to bring him or her to the Dew Drop Inn. We will treat them like royalty!
Remember the Dew Drop is open to all visitors’ weather or not you have a traveler with you. If you can, bring something with a travel related theme.
Getting there.
The Dew Drop is surrounded by some beautiful scenery however the last few feet can be difficult. It is with that in mind that we suggest that you wear jeans and a long sleeved shirt.
The best parking can be found at N 33° 09.785' W 097° 01.623' Part of the way it will appear that you are on private property but if you remember to stay within 50 yards of the shoreline, you are safely on Corps property. Just wave to the neighbors and get back to the hunt. There is a trail though it can be hard to find at times.
