Geocache Description:

..and they said Kansas was flat..#1..RETURNS!

north of Dorrance, KS

Minooka Park
Lake Wilson

Reasonable hike - uneven ground - abit of climbing.

Located 6 miles north of I-70 at exit 199 to Dorrance is Minooka Park at Wilson Lake. The park is open from 7am to 9pm. Parking for the cache is on the north side of the road going down to the lake.

Hiking to the cache is on uneven ground so watch your step. There is actually a small trail heading that direction if you happen to find it. Getting to the cache requires some climbing but no special equipment is necessary. Please rehide the container as well or better than you found it.

The Cache container is a
c
am mo-ammobox. Contents are: logbook, pen, pencils, and Geo-paper & miscellaneous items to trade.

Be sure and bring your camera or you'll probably wish that you had..check out the formations that are east of the cache..

Interesting story..the geocache disappeared..so we showed up with a new ammobox..let's hide it in a new spot and give everybody a new shot at it..I said..we hiked off to the east of the old cache..hmm..that's an interesting stack of rocks..if I didn't know better I'd think that it looks like a place where geocachers would stash a cache. We looked..and there it was..better than a hundred feet away from where it was hid. We checked it out..everything okay..so we found it a new hiding spot..have fun!
