Buttle kyrka kors västra hälft samt långhuset är från 1100-talet. Tornet tillkom vid 1200-talets början. Koret ombyggdes vid 1300-talets mitt. Av interiör kan namnas: omfattande kalkmålningar av "Passionsmästaren" från 1400-talets mitt, altarskåp 1400-tal, triumfkrucifix 1100-talets slut, dopfunt 1200-talet och predikstol samt bänkinredning från 1700-talets början.
