Serendipity View Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

tonibunny: Massively gutted!! I have been out to take a look at the cache site and it has been completely obliterated, with trees felled and earth moved to make way for a track. The cache may well still be there underneath all the piles of earth but there's no way to tell. It's completely unexpected and really very sad to see this happen to what was a lovely little glade of trees surrounding a musical little stream (the stream is now choked with debris).

I'm also very, very sorry to the TB owners, as I had placed their TBs here because I felt it was one of the safest caches that I knew [:(]

Oh well, onwards and upwards!

Geocache Description:

A medium sized cache hidden along a country road with lovely views.

We've called this cache Serendipity View because we found the site by accident when our Satnav got us lost! You can park right by the cache site either on the verge by the public footpath sign or in the pull-in on the road. As well as the fabulous views across the countryside to the distant hills, there's a small stream and mini-waterfall nearby so the site is pleasant to the ears too.

The cache should be a quick find and is big enough for most TBs and swaps. Please be careful to replace the cache out of sight once you've found it, but don't push it so far in that others will find it difficult to retrieve.
