Geocache Description:

Ilwaco is our home away from home so thought we'd place a few caches in the area. This cache and dash is the first one.

This cache is located in an interesting small park we pass on our bicycles that is dedicated to Remembering the Mariners. Take time to enjoy the stone art work and please respect the foliage.

Behind the park is the Columbia Pacific Historical Museum. The museum is worth a visit and has free admission on Thursdays.

On Saturdays from May through September at the Port of Ilwaco is the Saturday Market. We always enjoy walking through the market.
