Located near the junction of highway 35 and the Zama Lakes Road, on the Hay River
The industrial road just north of the cache heads west to Zama and Rainbow Lake and travelers can make a loop and return to High Level.
The Hay River at this point flows north to Great Slave Lake and has a magnificent display of its power at Twin Falls Park. The Hay River originates near Rainbow Lake however both the Shekilie and the Chinchaga Rivers provide water volumes from norther BC. The dark color of the water is not from sediment but is a result of staining caused from the organic soils that that the river system drains.
The trail near the cache leads to a nice spot on the river below the train bridge.
