This is a log only cache. Please bring a writing utensil. You can walk 0.12 of a mile up the dirt trail and then take a deer trail the last 60 feet to the cache. The cache is in plain site. There is no need to disturb anything.
Slim Pickins
Slim was a man of few actions and even fewer words.
Many hours of his life were spent hiking on dusty Colorado trails, which is where he acquired a portion of his name.
Only his closest friends knew he was a tree hugger. Slim’s environmental awareness and passion for trees once drove him to attach himself to a tree to prevent it from being cut down. His actions proved successful. The tree he risked his life to save still stands today.
Slim believed trees heal the earth…
