Geocache Description:

Une cache sur le sentier qui borde le lac Gilman.

A cache located on the trail around the Gilman Lake.

Le lac Gilman se situe en plein Chibougamau, ce qui nous permet d'avoir une plage municipale au coeur de la ville!
On peut y pratiquer la pêche, le canot, le kayak (les moteurs à essences sont interdits).
Un sentier est aménagé tout le tour du lac, permettant promenades à pieds et en vélo.

La cache contenait au départ le log book, la notice sur le géocaching et un sac de silicagel (dans un zip lock).
Dans un deuxième zip lock, il y a un crayon, un aiguise crayon (bien le remettre comme je l'ai mis, pour ne pas percer le zip lock), le 2$ pour le PAT et une babiole. Vous pourrez peut-être ajouter des babioles, mais il faudra qu'elles soient minces.

The Gilman Lake is located in Chibougamau, which gives us the advantage of having a municipal beach in town!
There, we can fish, do canoe, kayak (fuel engines are prohibited).
A trail goes around the lake, allowing for a nice walk or a bicycle ride.

Initially, the cache had a log book, a geocaching notice and a silicagel pack, all in one zip lock bag.
In another zip lock bag, there is a pencil and a sharpener (please put back the pen and sharpener as I did so the bag doesn't get pierced) along with a 2$ for the FTF and one illuminated paw sticker. You may had other things in there, but you'll see that they will need to be thin to fit.
Please be gentle with the mechanism so it won't break.
