Öja kyrka är en av Gotlands största kyrkor, byggd i etapper: koret med inbyggd absid ogch långhuset från 1200-talet, tornet 1300-talet och sakristian 1800-talet. Krucifixet "Gotlands mest beundrade träskulptur" 1200-talet, Madonnan kopia av Öjamadonnan i Gotlands fornsal, liksom Johannes (fri rekonstruktion) 1951, kalkmålningar 1200 och 1400-talet, predikstol 1628, altaruppsats 1643 och epitafier 1600-talet.

To be able to find the cache “Gute – Syd” you need to find all parish-caches which are part of this series – abt. 30. On the logstrip you will find a “hint”, which you must write down and save. When you have found all the parish-caches you must add all the “hints”. The total is the coordinates to the cache “Gute-Syd”, where you will find a part of the coordinates to the “end-cache” Gutaland GC1F088.
Holy Rood “Gotland’s most famoust wooden sculpture” 13th c, the mourning Madonna is a copy of the Öja Madonna in Gotland’s Historical Museum, and St.John (a free reconstruction) 1951, wall paintings 13th and 15th c, pulpit 1628, reredos 1643 and epitaphs 17th c.
