This cache is located in a popular Whonnock Park and as a result stealth is required when retrieving this cache. Parking is available nearby. Please abide by park hours as the caretaker is extremely vigilant. Park is open 8AM to DUSK according to one sign, and closed 10 PM to DAWN according to another!
Ridge Canoe and Kayak Club started paddling on this lake in 1982, and recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary. As I was a kayaker in the club back in the 80's, I decided to place a Tribute cache in the area of the current club.
The cache is a regular sized Lock n'Lock box with a log book, pen and the usual trade items, plus a commemorative 25th anniversary RCKC pin for FTF.
Please take care to avoid muggles, and replace cache carefully. The young paddlers may wonder what you're up to if they spot you.
