[EST] NB! Aarde asukoht muudetud alates 23.06.2025 Haapsalu piiskopilinnus on üks paremini säilinud keskaegseid kivilinnuseid Eestis. Linnus rajati 13. sajandil Saare-Lääne piiskopkonna keskuseks ning see oli olulise usulise ja poliitilise tähtsusega. Täna on linnus populaarne turismiobjekt ja siin asub muuseum, mis tutvustab piirkonna ajalugu. [ENG] NB! New location starting from 23.06.2025 The Haapsalu Episcopal Castle is one of the best-preserved medieval stone fortresses in Estonia. It was founded in the 13th century as the center of the Bishopric of Ösel-Wiek and held significant religious and political importance. Today, the castle is a popular tourist attraction and houses a museum showcasing the region’s history.
