Big Bird Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

m3a9: After some consideration, I've decided to go ahead & archive this listing. The original cache container is long gone, as is the replacement. With 165 finds in just under 5 years (and only one logged DNF!), I'd say this geocache has had a good life. Thank you to all those who visited! [:D]

Geocache Description:

A quick & easy micro poptop stop in Roaring Spring. The cache/hide is nothing special, just a grab & go for those who don't mind.

My mom & I hid this one together after I got her interested in caching. We tried our hands at making our own poptop container, thanks to the guidance of flyezrc (4geofun.com). Hope it holds up well, it seems tough. Cache may be difficult to find and/or access in the wintertime.

While it's easy enough to get quite close to the cache, the real trick is dodging the muggles' prying eyes. Don't forget to bring your own pen to sign the logbook. Good luck and please be sure to conceal the cache well. You may log your find after the logbook is signed. Enjoy!

***UPDATE: After a good life of several years, the original poptop container finally broke & was replaced with a small purple bison tube on 5-6-12. The location of the hide remains the same.***
