UPDATED UPDATED DESCRIPTION: Turns out the convoy was still in place for last DNF--we know because when we went to replace the cache 7/20/09 (even WE couldn't find convoy after that DNF entry!), we saw that someone had brought in a lawn mower and CHOPPED UP all of his original hiding places. We further found parts of the log & parts of the vehicle, but we found no, umm...limbs. Sooo, quite appropriate that you are now looking for a SPECOPS chopper (a helicopter)! He hopes to stay away from further intrusions on his hiding place--except from properly cleared geocachers.
