Geocache Description:

Situated on the path of a disused railway line running east out of Leicester, near the villages of Keyham and Ingarsby.

The cache is named after the film of the same name. At the time of placing jk&m were similar in age to Jenny Agutter (Bobbie), Sally Thomsett (Phyllis)and Gary Warren (Peter). Sadly the railway is long gone. The line passes through the nearby Ingarsby tunnel (516 yds) between Ingarsby and Thurnby and was opened for goods traffic on 2 October 1882 and passengers on the 2 July 1883. Goods services ceased on 1 June 1964.

There are several routes in to this cache.

If you go in from the north you can enjoy some liquid refreshments at the Dog&Gun in Keyham.

If you go in from the east you can get a good view of the site of the medieval village of Ingarsby, one of many 'lost villages' in this part of Leicestershire.

If you go in from the west (Covert Lane, Scraptoft) you could also take in the nearby 'Covert Cache' (GC18HJT).

Due to a new fence on the south side of the bridge, the best approach is probably the north-west side.

Hope you enjoy the ride!
