Geocache Description:

You can drive to within a few meters of the cache and park safely off the highway. The cache container is a lock-n-lock. This cache is suitable for small trade items and can be a stopover for travel bugs or geocoins. Watch your step walking in the area, as there are bits of metal and holes from an old service station that used to occupy this site. Please take care to ensure the cache is concealed, once you have loggged your visit.

Pincher Station's name was changed to Pincher City in the early 1900s when it was competing with Pincher Creek for citizenry. A train station was located North-West of the cache site and Pincher City also boasted a 4 story hotel, the Alexandra, and at least one livery stable. Pincher City had the CPR and Pincher Creek had, well, more available and reliable water. In the early 30s, Pincher City renounced its name.
