Deze reis door Enschede heeft wel een duidelijk thema. We beginnen
bij jong en we eindigen bij oud. Het is de moeite waard om niet met
blik op oneindig alle hints op te zoeken, maar goed om je heen te
kijken. De kans is groot dat je de nodige beroemdheden uit Enschede
tegen komt: de families Stroink, Blijdensteijn en Van Heek om er
maar een paar te noemen. Veel plezier op deze tocht; neem er de
tijd voor, en plan hem tussen 10 en 19 uur (16 uur in de winter)
anders mag je niet alle parken in.
- Ga naar N 52 13.11, E 6 58.22 en zoek daar het nummer van de
meest noordoostelijke plek op deze plaats. Noem dit nummer
ABA.
- Ga nu naar N 52 13.(ABA + 50), E 6 55.(6 x ABA) en zoek daar
het meestvoorkomende beroep van de mannen net ten zuiden van het
grote witte kruis. Tel het aantal letters in dit beroep en noem dit
C.
- Ga nu naar N 52 13.(ABA + C), E 6 54.(ABA + 15 x C) en zoek
daar het jaar waarin de Engelse man 38 jaar oud was. Noem dit jaar
AEFG.
- Ga nu naar N 52 13.BEC E 6 53.GAC en zoek daar plekje 262. De
aanwijzing voor het volgende punt ligt niet verder dan 50cm van het
paaltje met het nummer. Let op dat je de aanwijzing weer zo plaatst
als je hem gevonden hebt. Onopvallend doen is hier de kunst.
- Ga naar het punt waarvoor je de aanwijzing gevonden hebt, en
zoek en vind daar de laatste rustplaats van de cache. Er zijn nogal
wat mensen die zich afvragen waarom dit de laatste rustplaats is
geworden. Eenvoudig weg hierom: deze oude plek is er ongetwijfeld
één, maar is niet meer als zodanig herkenbaar. Van de kolonisten
leerde ik dat dat inderdaad zo blijkt te zijn, zelfs nog
herkenbaar: één van de bovengenoemde families heeft van deze plek
zijn laatste rustplaats gemaakt. Vanwege de rust vertellen we
echter niet precies waar...
Deze cache is goed te doen per fiets of per auto. Te voet is
waarschijnlijk een beetje ver.

cross. Count the number of characters in this profession and call
this number C.
- The next destination is N 52 13.(ABA + C), E 6 54.(ABA + 15 x
C) where you have to search for an English man. He was 38 years old
in year AEFG.
- We're getting closer at N 52 13.BEC E 6 53.GAC where you have
to search for place 262. The hint for the next spot is located not
further than 50cm from the sign with the number. Please take care
to put the hint exactly as you found it, and try to do it
inconspicuously.
- Go to the final hiding place of the cache. Sorry that the hint
is typically Dutch. Plus one point for all foreigners!
This cache is doable by car, bike is preferable, and just
walking is pushing the limit.
