Sims Farm was bequeathed to the Cleve Area School by the late Gordon Samuel Sims.
It provides students with practical, in the Agricultural related course. The school operates rotational cropping and livestock program on the 400 hectare property incorporating, wheat, barley and oats, plus merino sheep and prime lamb production.
The farm has a 350mm. average rainfall.
The original homestead can be seen in the distance looking south.
To get to the cache you do not have to get over the fence and it is magnetic.
Please do not remove any stones from the single furrow plough pedestal.
Whilst looking for the cache why not reflect on how farming would have been done by our pioneers.
