Geocache Description:

EXTREME RISK OF BEING MUGGLED DUE TO BEING PLACED IN MARKET SQUARE READING. THE AREA IS VERY BUSY DURING MOST TIMES. PLEASE BE VERY DISCRETE RETRIEVING THE CACHE AND REPLACE EXACTLY AS FOUND.

Another cacher indicated that there aren't enough caches in Reading town centre and so I placed this cache. The cache is located near the Simeon Monument in Reading's Market Place. Edward Simeon, who was director of the Bank of England many moons ago, commissioned the monument due to his love of Reading. More information can be found at the following link: (visit link) There also used to be undeground public conveniences in this area, though they have now been filled in.

GPS reception may be poor due to tall buildings in the vicinity. The cache is in clear view.
