I replaced this today (7-14-14) with a new container and new log. Do not, I repeat do not, attempt to find this if there is anyone in sight, especially kids in the park. It's been muggled multiple times and if it happens again it will be archived. After you sign the log, replace the cache at ground level in the center of the beacon and cover it with a little debris. This is the only way it will survive. I hate to be grumpy about this, but I've said it before and it still gets left exposed.
This park is on the site of a church that burned over fifty years ago. For many years the area was neglected. Then four women, Osta, Helen, Hilda, and Glatha, rest their souls, took it upon themselves to physically build the shelter you see now. They were the cooks at the school you see to the west, and if you really sit and try you can still smell the lunchroom aroma even today (they fed me for 12 years, so it wasn't all bad!) The school has been closed for more than 20 years and has been converted into one of the premier centers in the entire U.S. for the restoration of older Corvettes. It has turned out many $150,000 automobiles. The park ground is still owned by the church (see the newer building up the hill to the north) and the next door neighbors take turns mowing the grass. Have fun.
