This is the first, in what we hope will be a fun series. This series will be the “Get Fit” caches. We are scouting out the Lakeland area for some connections to physical fitness or health.
This first Cache was placed near the Greenwood YMCA. If you have never spent time here, or are not a member, we encourage you to check it out. The board and staff of the YMAC have done a tremendous job growing and updating the facility and fields to keep up with the communities ever changing needs. If you have time while hunting the cache, walk around the facilities and check it out.
We tried to step it up a little on this cache. The other 2 we have placed in the Greenwood area seemed to be found with relative ease. We are hoping this one may be a little more challenging. There is amble parking, as you will see, and most of time little stealth is requires; however, there are certain times that you will need to be on your toes. The cache terrain is for the most part very accessible. The cache is camoed to blend with the environment.
