How long ago did dinosaurs roam the earth?
65 million years ago. Dinosaurs roamed the earth for over 180
million years, becoming extinct about 65 million years ago.
The Age of Dinosaurs is known as the “Mesozoic
Era.”
Jurassic is one of the three periods in this era- what are the
other two?
Triassic: (245 million to 208 million years ago) The period of the
first dinosaurs when all the land was joined in one continent.
Pterosaurs, flying reptiles, first took to the air.
Cretaceous: (145 to 65 million years ago) The first flowers
appeared. The land divided into several continents. Most of the
dinosaurs we know come from the Cretaceous period.
Now that you have had your little history lesson. go find the
cache. It might be a good stop for travel bugs as long as it
doesn't get hungry.
Writing a good log will not make you a better cacher, but it
might give you more respect from other cachers.
