Besazio è un piccolo borgo che si trova alle pendici del Monte San
Giorgio e, tra le altre cose, ospita la piccola, ma splendida
chiesa parrocchiale di Sant'Antonino di Piacenza, ora monumento
nazionale svizzero, che domina il paese da una collinetta.
L'edificio ha origini medievali, intorno al X secolo, mentre il
campanile risulta essere del VIII secolo. Alcuni riportano che
l'antica fonte battesimale (VIII secolo), ora una fontanella sulla
piazza della Chiesa di Besazio, appartenesse in origine proprio a
questa chiesa.
All'interno è possibile ammirare alcune opere d'arte anche molto
antiche, come l'affresco del XIII secolo sopra il coro. Il
crocefisso ligneo in fondo alla chiesa è della seconda metà del
1600 e sulla navata è presente un olio su tela dello stesso
periodo, rappresentatnte il Santo a cui la Chiesa è dedicata.
A nord della Chiesa nel 1958 fu rinvenuta una necropoli
tardoromana e alcuni reperti paleocristiani.
Se siete fortunati, vi consigliamo vivamente di parcheggiare nella
piazza della Chiesa di Besazio, e salire verso il cache dal piccolo
sentiero che parte dall'antica Fonte battesimale. C'è un altro
parcheggio, quello del cimitero, più vicino alla chiesa. In tal
caso vi suggeriamo di percorrere il sentiero al contrario per
raggiungere la piazza e l'antica fonte battesimale.
Il cache è un piccolo tupperware avvolto in un sacchetto di
plastica, contenente alcuni oggetti, logbook e matita e una busta
di
anti umidità (SilicaGel) da non rimuovere!. Vista la
sacralità del luogo ed il nascondiglio scelto, per raggiungere il
cache senza alcun pericolo, vi consigliamo di usufruire dell'aiuto
offerto dalla foto "Entra di qui". E, soprattutto, rimettete il
cache
esattamente come lo avete trovato!!!
Non abbiamo nascosto il cache a livello del terreno visto che
nella nostra perlustrazione abbiamo notato due serpentini.

Besazio is a small village that is located on Mount San Giorgio
and, among other things. Inside its territory there is, among other
things, the small but beautiful church of Sant'Antonino Piacenza,
that is now a Swiss national monument, which dominates the country
from a hill.
The building has medieval origins, around the X century, while the
bell tower is the VIII century. Some report that the ancient
baptismal font (VIII century), now a fountain in front of the
Church of Besazio, originally belonged to this church.
Inside you can admire some artworks very ancient, such as the
fresco (XIII century) above the choir. The wooden crucifix at the
bottom of the church is of the second half of 1600 and on the nave
there is an oil on canvas from the same period, that represents the
Saint to which the Church is dedicated.
To the north of the Church in 1958 it has been found a necropolis
of the late roman age and some older findings.
If you're lucky, we strongly recommend to park in the square of
the Church of Besazio, and walk up to the cache from the small
trail that starts from the baptismal source. There is another
parking lot, at the cemetery, closer to the church. In this case we
suggest you to take the path on the contrary to reach the square
and the old baptismal font.
The cache is a small tupperware wrapped in a plastic bag
containing some items, logbook and pencil and a
anti humidity
bag (SilicaGel) that should not be removed!. Given the
sacredness of the place and the hidden solution choosen for the
cache, to reach the cache without any danger, we recommend that you
take advantage of the aid offered by the photo "Get in from here".
And, please, put the cache back
exactly as you found
it!!!
We did not hide the cache at the ground because we noticed two
small snakes while we were looking for the hiding spot.
