Geocache Description:

There was a little turtle
Who lived in a box.
He swam in the puddles
And climbed on the rocks.

He snapped at the mosquito,
He snapped at the flea.
He snapped at the minnow,
And he snapped at me.

He caught the mosquito,
He caught the flea.
He caught the minnow,
But he didn't catch me!

Do you remember that song from childhood? It’s one of my kids’ long time favorites. This cache is named in honor of all the little turtles we saw while hiding it. I don’t think that any will snap at you while finding it though!

This search will take you around some lovely ponds in the Sewell’s Orchard neighborhood of Columbia. Keep an eye out for all the wildlife who call this area home. I recommend that you park at the trailhead on Sewell’s Orchard Drive for an easy walk on the paved trail to this site. You’re looking for a green decon container. After you find the Turtle Box, continue on around to find our other cache in this area, Duck, Duck, Goose.
