Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDINATES. A beginners puzzle cache in a dog friendly park.

This cache is dedicated to Ernie Calcutt. He was a great news sports announcer on a local Ottawa radio station. To find the first step of the puzzle, simply add to the North decimal portion of the minutes the 3 digits of the radio station he last worked at (ABC) and add to the West decimal portion of the minutes the last 2 digits of the year (XXDE) in which he passed away. When you get there, no need to go into those spruce trees, just count their number. Then since you are close, take note of the address of this park (three digits which will become FGH). Then count the number of spruce trees in the other (West) location in the park. The difference between the East and West number of spruce trees is Y. A bench is provided (should you wish to sit) for this easy calculation of where the cache is located. With the park's location on your gps, change the decimal portion of the North minutes to: H(G-Y) (F-G) and the West ones to: YGY It's a small cache so no trades in this one. Please replace firmly in place!
