Oscar Fredriks kyrka invigdes den 2 april år 1893 av biskop Edvard Herman Rohde. Kyrkan har fått sitt namn efter kung Oscar II. Kung Oscar II besökte kyrkan år 1898. Kyrkan är ritad av arkitekt Helgo Zetterwall och byggmästaren var F.O. Peterson.

Kyrkan är byggd i nygotisk stil i rött tegel. Kyrkan har restaurerats tre gånger: 1915, 1940 och 1974. Kyrkans torn är 60 meter högt.

Kyrkans interiör går i gröna färger.

Kyrkans orgel har 45 stämmor och 3 manualer. Kyrkan har även en kororgel, med 6 stämmor, som kan spelar från den stora orgeln.

Oscar Fredriks kyrka was inagurated the 2 of April 1893 by Bishop Edvard Herman Rohde. The church has gotten its name from the king Oscar II. The king Oscar II visited the church in 1898. The church was designed by Helgo Zetterwall and the master builder was F.O. Peterson.

The church is built in neo-Gothic style with red bricks. The church has been restored three times: 1915, 1940 and 1974. The church tower is 60 meters tall.

The church interior is in green colors.

The church organ has 45 stops and 3 manuals. The church has even an chancel organ, that can be played from the large organ.
