The cache is hidden in a quirky, but amusing park. The coordinates have changed. However, I updated them on 10/25/23
Oaklawn Garden is a quirky, 20-acre public park and outdoor museum in Germantown, Tennessee, that seamlessly blends local history with botanical beauty. Once a historic 19th-century homestead and commercial flower nursery, the property was transformed by its eccentric owners into a sanctuary for retired regional artifacts. Today, visitors can wander through massive fields of daffodils and azaleas while discovering unique historical treasures scattered across the grounds, including vintage trains, old municipal equipment, and the original Germantown city jail cell.
The location is one that will especially interest young kids. There are many things to see and explore.
The entrance is very small. I park on the outside area near the fence when I visit. Although there is another way to access the park, be sure to go inside the park and use the trails so you can see everything!
