This cache is placed in celebration of the life of my dog "Blue".


GC12ZFG Rock Glen Falls Earthcache, March 2008



"Blue the Trusty Geodog" was a first-rate geocacher. Together, over the years we chalked up over 2,000 cache finds.
He was also my chief of security, foot warmer, personal bodyguard, mood-lifter, ice-breaker, car alarm, hug therapist, confidante, vacuum cleaner, and the only one who would wait up for me when I was on afternoon shift.
He also holds the distinction of almost (well, not quite) beating Smudge up, once.

Blue absolutely loved the trails. And he's been on this one with me more than a few times.
Unfortunately, the inevitable scourge of old age took Blue from me earlier this summer.
What a great world it would be, if everyone was fortunate enough to have someone like Blue around to enrich their lives!
