Geocache Description:

This Cache is located close to the Woodland walk and the Majuba track in Hanmer Springs.

Do not attempt this cache if you want to keep you feet dry!!

You will have to leave the track to access this cache, be careful on your way upto the cache the ground is very uneven and this area could be very wet after rain and may even flood when there has been heaps of rain.

The easiest way to reach this cache is to park in the carpark down the end of Torquay Terrace - S42 31.025 / E172 50.161.

I really enjoy the area this cache is in, it's so peaceful, when I placed the cache there were a couple of fantails that came over to say hi and I heard a few grey warblers as well.

This cache should be a straight forward find, it is a one litre sistema container.

The original contents of the cache were: the usual logbook, stashnote, pencils, sharpener, Buzzy the lamb travel bug from Austria, Hand geocoin from Switzerland, Geocaching-Zone card, compeed blister plaster, hanmer forest recreation brochure, green snake ( dead ), green pen, plastic goat, plastic chicken, pink bangle, domino piece, marble.
