Fudgeman: Time to archive this series so that other cachers can place some caches in the area. A big thank you to all who visited the series and made it so popular. I'll be placing some new caches soon but I want to concentrate on quality and not quantity caches now.

Geocache Description:


A series of caches along the Bourne Valley Greenway cycle path that follows the Bourne stream from where it comes out of the ground next to the Ringwood Rd at Wallisdown all the way along the Bourne Valley and into Bournemouth gardens.The Bourne stream is where Bournemouth gets it's name. The route is mostly compacted gravel paths until you get to Coy Ponds and then it becomes tarmac. Wheel chair users should have no problems along the route but will need some able bodied assistance to retrieve some of the caches. From the first cache to the last one in Bournemouth gardens is just under 5 miles. There are bus stops at both ends if you wish to walk the route or you can do as I did and cycle it which took me just under 3 hours and included time taken to place the caches.
