Great Baddow has been the site of the Marconi research
laboratories for over 65 years. The Marconi Chain Home Transmitter
Tower of 1937 was part of the UK radar defence system during World
War 2. Then it formed part of an arc around the British coast. In
1956 it was moved to Great Baddow from its original site. The tower
stands 110 meters high and is the only chain radar tower in the
country remaining in its original form.
There is plenty of parking at N 51 42 463 E 000 29 820 next to
the Tower. Walk 50yds north to the Bridleway (Bridle path 29) N 51
42 495 E 000 29 777 this is a pleasant quarter of a mile walk along
a loose gravel path (may be difficult to push buggies). The cache
site is one of several sites within the village where a programme
of improvements to the natural heritage biodiversity are being
made. You are looking for a small box.
Update:
Thanks go to cacher stephencooke8 who tells us that the tower at
Gt Baddow was relocated from Canewdon and provides the following
interesting website with lots of details -

Update 2: Please also see GC1M77D where GrimmerScotting has now
set a cache at the original location of the tower at
Canewdon.
