Welcome to the Fall Scavenger Hunt!
This event will take place on Saturday, October 18th. weather
permitting.(If it does rain, we will make a group decision on
continuing).
The posted coordinates are for a picnic shelter at the
Anderson
Sports and Entertainment Center.
We have a shelter for the day.
Everyone is invited whether you participate in the scavenger hunt
or not.
This is a picnic event, so bring your own lunch and drink. We will
be providing the ice, cups and various dessert dishes.
Someone will be available to watch any coolers that you would like
to leave at the site.
The meeting time for the scavenger hunt is at 9:30 am, we
will be handing out instructions and reviewing them at this
time.
We will be meeting back at this location at 1 pm for the Scavenger
Hunt picnic, event scoring and awards ceremony.
You can have as many people as you wish on your scavenger
hunt team. You will be asked to find and photograph various caches,
items and locations throughout the local area.
You must have at least two people on a team. If you are
coming alone and wish to participate, then be prepared to team up
with others.
Your teams requirements are:
-GPS'r
-Transportation
-Pen/Pencil,Paper
-One "TEAM" Digital Camera
More details and instructions will be given at the
start.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three placing teams.And
we will also have door prizes. So, if you have anything interesting
that you would like to donate for a door prize-feel free to bring
it. We will include it with the other prizes.
