Geocache Description:

Easy walk along restored railway line

The cache is placed off the restored Guildford to Horsham railway line. The railway was opened in 1865 and closed only four months before its 100th anniversary. just south of peasmarsh the line had to cross the river Wey however the bridge was removed shortly after the railway was closed.The bridge was re-established in October 06 so the line spans the river again so as people can complete the walk. The cache is a tupperware box containing log book and pen. Swaps for children
